Each patient is given a thorough psychiatric
evaluation and recommendations are made regarding further
evaluations, medications and therapy. The initial evaluation
consists of an 80 minute appointment. Dr. Murphy works closely
with her patients’ other providers, including obstetricians,
internists and other specialists, so that care is coordinated
and comprehensive.

If medication is found to be appropriate for
a patient, medication management is provided either in conjunction
with therapy or on its own. Medication management appointments
without therapy are 20-30 minutes.

Dr. Murphy provides individual therapy in sessions,
with or without medication management, that last 45 – 50 minutes.
